You are right, my network is not full-duplex, yet the card is set to
full-duplex.
Strangely, though, I can't get ifconfig to get out of full duplex mode.
dmesg shows:
ne2 at pci0 dev 9 function 0: RealTek 8029 Ethernet
ne2: 10base2, 10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, auto, default auto
And:
ifconfig ne2 media 10baseT then ifconfig -a produces:
media: Ethernet 10baseT (10baseT full-duplex)
ifconfig ne2 media 10baseT-FDX then ifconfig -a produces:
media: Ethernet 10baseT full-duplex
ifconfig ne2 media 10base2 then ifconfig -a produces:
media: Ethernet 10base2 (10baseT full-duplex)
ifconfig ne2 media auto then ifconfig -a produces:
media: Ethernet autoselect (10baseT full-duplex)
Thanks again, -Mike
