If my memory is correct, asian codepage support is integrated into
samba master distribution and it is now matter of configuration.
Pls look at "client code page" directive in
http://us1.samba.org/samba/docs/man/smb.conf.5.html.
CAVEAT: I do not use samba daily so my memory may well wrong.
