Did anyone have any success with FrameMaker[*] so far?

Looking at /var/log/authlog, it forks lots of portmap processes after the
splash screen is displayed, and the "maker" process itself seems hung:

Dec 16 18:30:49 yui portmap[5461]: connect from 194.95.108.191 to set(1289403860)
Dec 16 18:30:49 yui portmap[5476]: connect from 194.95.108.191 to set(1289403875)
Dec 16 18:30:49 yui portmap[5491]: connect from 194.95.108.191 to set(1289403890)

I've tried starting the license daemon, but didn't have any luck there
either. Starting fm_fls I see some unset and set operation, but "rpcinfo
-u `uname -n` 300215" doesn't show anything.

I gotta leave now, but I do wonder if running a Linux portmap may help.
Unfortunately I don't know anything about what portmap exactly does and
how it works, starting it as "portmal -s -d" didn't bring up anything
interresting.

Anyone?
