Subject: Trouble with cardbus and tlp on vaio (i386)?

Today I supped and built a kernel with Jason's if_tlp_cardbus.c.

But if I insert a Netgear FAS310, or boot with the netgear inserted, i
get a message saying that the PCI host bridge isn't recognized.

Here's dmesg output after rebuilding with CARDBUS_DEBUG turned on.
Note the line with
     cardbus_attach_card: Vendor 0x8086, Product 0x7192, CIS 0x0

This is from a config file based on CARDBUS. (I'm using a newish Vaio,
and I have to turn off pcic0 to stop it attaching on top of the
cardbus bridge, and turn on the PCI-bios fixes to get the cardbus
interrupts configured properly.)

The Netgear card I'm using was recognized by the kludged-up patch for
Xircom carbus cards which was posted a couple of weeks back, and it
works with Windows.

Can someone give me a clue what I'm doing wrong?
