Platform i386

Routed keeps complaining:

% routed -sd
routed: ifinit: sysctl(RT_IFLIST) estimate: Invalid argument; giving up


and then dies.  Can someone clue me a little bit as to what is going on and
what I might do to fix this?  I don't think I've changed my setup since this 
used to work on pre-1.4.1.
