Hello...
Has anyone seen a DP83843 media interface work with the tlp driver?? This
is what the D-LINK DFE-570TX [4 port ethernet pci card] apparently uses
one and ukphy does not appear to work with it. Here are snips from a
dmesg:
tlp0 at pci2 dev 4 function 0: DECchip 21143 Ethernet, pass 4.1
tlp0: interrupting at irq 9
tlp0: Ethernet address 00:80:c8:f8:70:bc
ukphy0 at tlp0 phy 1: Generic IEEE 802.3u media interface
ukphy0: OUI 0x080017, model 0x0001, rev. 0
ukphy0: 10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX, auto
The following errors occur when the card is ifconfig'ed.
tlp0: filter setup and transmit timeout
tlp0: filter setup timeout
tlp0: filter setup timeout
tlp0: filter setup timeout
tlp0: filter setup timeout
tlp0: filter setup and transmit timeout
The kernel was 1.4M with a 1.4L userland. Is a PR in order, or is this
interface not supported (yet??) or is something else wrong??
Thanks...
