I tried

cd /usr/src && cvs update -D "1999-06-15 12:00" .

I got the same behavior as the "8 A.M. kernel" from just after the glue code
changes; also not working.

I'm going to try yesterday's sources in a bit, to see if anything's improved
over the weekend. Otherwise I'll just have to hope that Lennart can get to
an iMac.
