We got a second notebook (previously running Penguin as its primary, but
with 1.4 installed, but not well configured) working for much longer than 10
minutes. I was sitting right next to Alan (the working notebook's current
owner), but it never worked for me. Apparently, there are two base stations
in the terminal room.
I'm in the lobby and it seems to work, although I just had a crash. I think
that we don't have code to force vt0 when dropping to ddb? I'll just
     sysctl -w ddb.onpanic=0
and enable savecore. I wish I brought a null modem cable...

What I need now is for dhclient to "give up" when it discovers at least
*one* workign network interface.
