Then, next question i have is:

(1) Probably, reseting all is too heavy.  So, what is necessary
    actually to bring 3c509 or 3c589 to work?  I gesst enable intr or
    *_ENABLE...

(2) Is the newer 3com 10/100M pcmcia card really necessary to avoid
    epreset there?
