So, i think i may have come up with a patch to make the ncr.c driver
slightly happier with drives which return QUEUE FULL errors to it...
However, i'm interested in getting the patch better tested before i
check it in.  (This could typically be worked around by setting
"options SCS_NCR_DFLT_TAGS=0", but that's a bit of overkill...)
