I'm an emacs user, stuck on a wscons setup because one of the machines
I use won't run X. (Intel 810 chipset issue -- never mind that.)

Any way, I've noticed that, annoyingly, hitting the Alt key won't do
"Meta" for me the way it will in an xterm. I searched the wscons
documentation (what there is of it :( its pretty damn poor) and I
could not find any hint of what I might need to do to get this to
work.

Am I going to have to hack the driver?
