Actually the -Wl,-R${LIBDIR} added to one of the patches I modified
yesterday will help even more.

Which base.tgz did you install into the /aout area? Also, shouldn't it be
in /emul/aout (or did I misread the message I just deleted :-)  ?

I'd suggest that if you're using a -current kernel (and installing fresh),
just run using ELF.
