I didn't know this. I just had a request for the code and thought that
we'd dealt with it already.
The code is derived from BSD getopt() as hacked by the Kerberos project for
their needs.

Cool. Glad to get feedback. It needs to be merged with the getopt.c, but
I didn't want to do that until there was some feedback.
