What about programs which are not traditional logins but have an option
to show up in utmp? (xdm was recently mentioned here as an example of a
program which does this) Doesn't this new w(1) actually provide _less_
information in that case?
At any rate, I think this should be in there as an option, possibly
requiring some sort of privilege, but I don't want to see it be the
default...
