Hi,

I just bought a DVD-ROM that plugs into the PCMCIA (CardBus) port.
It's called EXP DVD-780.  (Info at www.expnet.com.)  Has anyone heard of it?
The card identifies itself with "EXP   ", "PnPIDE", "F1".
 I thought it might be just another wdc controller in it, but using the wdc driver
for it just hangs the machine.
In Windoze98 it's using a special driver and it shows up a s a SCSI device.

Clues anyone?
