Sure. So the question is: do we silently set the bit to '1' and see what's
happen, set it to '1' and print a warning, or leave it to 0 and refuse to
configure the chip ?
I'd say "set to 1 and print a warning" is the better solution.
Isn't there a standart PCI register telling if the board is DMA-capable ?
If so it should be easy to put this in a centralised place ...
