this might be, uh, relevant to the last message.
the console says
lfs_vflush: flushing VDIROP, this shouldn't be
all the time, but that does not immediately preceed a panic.
it says
lfs_vget: ino 37061 is type VNON! (ifmt 0)
and then (!) it panics.
it happens all the time when i read a certain file or something (exactly:
when i do 'make install' for objdump).
i was running an old lfs_cleanerd with a new kernel for a while, but not
at the time of the crash.
