Getting rid of Linux is my specialty.  Boot with an MS-DOS ``kernel'' and
incant the following:

A:\>fdisk /MBR

you will need FDISK.EXE from a full DOS install on your bootable floppy.
The one in \WINDOWS\COMMANDS will do fine.
