This is especially amusing knowing the fact that just a couple years
back, they thought that XFS was so extremely secret that they didn't
want to give out the source (even under NDA) to Transarc, because they
were afraid that IBM (owns Transarc) would get their hands on it.
Even today, you can't build AFS for IRIX from source, because the
parts dealing with XFS just aren't there, they don't even give out
header files and libraries, like they did with EFS.
