I have borrowed a 3c509B for testing purposes. At first the card
wouldn't do PNP, but I I turned on PnP with the 3com DOS config
utility, and now it does.

I can verify that the card configures as both ISA and ISAPNP.
(ep0 and ep1).  That's a Must-Fix bug for 1.4.

With my own most-recent patches I have not been able to duplicate
either the hang on shutdown, or a panic on shutdown.  This may be
because the NIC is connected to a BNC T-connector with two terminators
and I never ifconfig'ed it up.
