I have a few questions, looking forward:

1.  Just curious, what's going on with the SMP stuff?  It's not intended for
    that stuff to be MI/MD combined, is it?  I would think that MP at all is
    quite architecture-dependent!

    Do we have any set of skilled people by whom it would be possible to
    clean-room at least a base implementation for any of the MP platforms?

2.  Is there any headway on a port for the HP/PA-RISC architecture, or is
    that too closely held to do anything?

3.  Ditto the SGI/MIPS architectures.

This is all curiosity, please don't flame me.
