I think you did install the NetBSD bootblocks to the beginning of the
NetBSD root partition. The question is, did you re-install os-bs? I am
not sure about how it works, but let's say it stored the sector number
of the beginning of the NetBSD partition of the old disk, but now the
geometry changed - it might not be looking at the right place..
