In the latest sup, uudecode seems to be broken.  The version is:
/*      $NetBSD: uudecode.c,v 1.11 1999/03/18 23:57:11 kleink Exp $     */

What is does looks like:
-rw-r--r--  1 root  wheel  2048 Mar 23 00:24 begin 644 vt220h.808

This is in src/sys/arch/i386/isa/pcvt/Util/fonts.  Obviously it is
not doing something right in the name parsing.
