Please don't do this - unless it properly implements timeouts etc.
Sun's nscd appears to completely ignore DNS TTL's and has been a major
bitch.  Thus getting rid of nscd (and installing bind) is one of the 
first things we do when configuring Sun's 

Otherwise sounds cool.
