Yes all true, however the LCD loses badly in bright daylight - can't 
see anything and drains the batteries very quickly.  

That's why I like the Olympus SLR modles - real SLR with optical viewfinder.

Sounds like for the time being though I'll need to rely on serial download
of picks.
