  Every time I reboot after the panic, /etc/rc's fsck is done on
the partition in question, and finds no problems on that
partition.  I'm running an fsck -f -v /dev/wd0f right now -- no
errors.  So if the FS is slightly corrupted, it's not in any
way that fsck can notice/fix.  :(
