Just one note - after sending my last message I took a look again at the
Makefile - it says near the top that the file is available at
http://www.flame.org/NetBSD/freebsd_lib-2.2.7.tar.gz.  I had tried the
command 'ftp http://www.flam...' before, but I tried again and got "404 Not
Found".  I thought I'd check out the site with my browser and discovered
that it is there under that same URL, but for some reason the ftp program
couldn't find it.  Is this a bug with the command line ftp?  Or am I
confused again?  ;o)
