I've seen something similar with a PCI de450 card. The card started
working properly when I went into the BIOS config screen, and set the
slot the card is in to "Master Enable". I don't know what that means,
but the card hasn't given me any trouble under NetBSD since then...
entropy -- it's not just a good idea, it's the second law.
