make install shows these last few lines:
(cd /usr/pkgsrc/databases/mysql/work/mysql-3.21.33b;
./scripts/mysql_install_db)
Starting mysql server
A mysqld process already exists
System may be under load. Waiting for mysqld to start...
mysqld demon is not responding. Please try to start it manually with
/usr/pkg/libexec/mysqld --skip-grant --log
You can find some information about why it didn't start by examining
the log file in the /var/mysql directory.
Remember to include the last few lines from the log file if you
post a bug report about this. Please report bugs and ask questions
with the /usr/pkg/bin/mysqlbug script!
Before posting you should first check the reference manual,
section 'Problems with mysql_install_db' and then the MySQL
mail archive if this is a common problem on your platform!
