i got tired (again) of "current" netbsd from 7/18/97, so i downloaded
fresh current tarballs and started building (notes to follow when i
either get stuck or finish :) on my 486/50.

yeah...i'm a crazy nut.

um...lint is giving me lots of "warnings" (with libc, so far).  is
this normal?  i mean...i would have expected that they would have been
seen by someone and fixed/marked by now.  or should i just ignore
them?

yes, i built a new lint.  :)
