Hi,
I was just wondering if any progress has been made on the "epic0: device
timeout" problem with the SMC EtherPower II driver?  I'm having this
problem quite a lot, and sometimes the card never responds again (or
atleast, it didn't respond for the 1/2 hour that I was willing to wait).
Does anyone have any suggestions for making the card behave better (other
than using 100Mbps mode)?  

In the mean time, I will try to track down the cause of the problem, and
look though the source for the linux epic drive to see if it might help...
