Ugh.  It's not perfect, admittedly...

Hey, this could be another use for something similar to BSD/OS's
'boot.default', if we allowed that to specify or override orders or
	-probe scsibus0 at aic0

It may be, but it shouldn't be necessary to rebuild kernels to tweak
things a little.  :)
