Well, the Solaris version crashes pretty often on Solaris, so it might
not
be the SVR4 emulation. If you want to try the Solaris version, go and
get the latest Communicator-4.5beta1. I just got it a couple of days ago
and it hasn't crashed a single time (knock on wood :-)

It does have some really small bugs left, but at least it seems to be
really stable. It seems that they finally realized that less bloated,
stable software is more important than having a zillion features
crash on you every couple of minutes.
