Nope.  I just got it on a 1.3.2 i386 box (at about the time an amanda
dump would have started, as a matter of fact).  ps just gives me
"undefined error: 0" though. 

Are you running the pkgsrc amanda? I never had problems with a
self-compiled 2.4.0 beta on another i386 box.  There were some
configuration differences between the two (the working version had
--with-mmap, for example).  That may help track down what's triggering
the problem.
