I don't know.  The only problem I've had yet with CD-R media is that I
did a comp for a friend, and the music sounds wobbly.  I know, I know - it's
physically impossible.  :)  It still sounds that way...

I dunno.  BSD/OS has a "mkisofs" command which I've used to make CD's of
data streams.
