Hello current users,

I am having some problems on -current that seem to be persistant and (waiting
for others to complain) seems to be un notished.

1) Sinds a few days (after the 19th) my perl program aborts with
_Socket_IPBROADCAST not to be found in socket.so.
It seems to be related to the error in rtld (shoot me if I am wrong)
rtld problem:
- /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/ld/rtld/rtld.c: In function `__dlopen':
- /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/ld/rtld/rtld.c:1585: `RTLD_GLOBAL' undeclared (first use this function)
- /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/ld/rtld/rtld.c:1585: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
- /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/ld/rtld/rtld.c:1585: for each function it appears in.)
- *** Error code 1
adding a _ to RTLD_GLOBAL makes rtld compile fine but ....

2)
On my compaq (Isn't every digital computer a Compaq) I have an empty 2nd
ide controller (no drives). Sinds the atapi mods from CGD wdc? detects
HUGE negative storage areas connected to that controller. Atapi barfs on
it and changing atapi? into atapi0 (on wdc0 only thus) gives me a kernel
capable of surviving this but the seek test into the negative storage
gives still errors (non fatal) I just disable the 2nd controller too
in my config.... But is should not have to be.
Here is a dmesg output:

3) I am using xntpd with a radio clock (dcf77) to keep track of time.

xntpd sindse 2 weeks tels me that the fcntl(F_SETOWN , PID) of the /dev/refclock0
is not possible (it is tty0 - hard link) anymore and now only uses the
internal clock.

If anything is familiar, please fix.
If I am doing anything wrong , please tell me.

Email to gvdg@concepts.nl , I read the newsgroups via sup (!)
