I'm using NetBSD 1.3 on i386.

I would like to mount file generated by mkisofs as file system to check it.
The only/best way seems to be to use vnd. Okay, but even through
it's configured and compiled in (pseudo-device vnd is enabled),
vnconfig keeps saying:

	$ vnconfig /dev/vnd0a isofs 2048/100/1/2939
	vnconfig: /dev/vnd0a: opendisk: Device not configured

I looked at sysctl, found kern.maxvnodes = 778 (maybe it's related, don't know).

If it's important:
> ls -l /dev/vnd0a /dev/rvnd0a
brw-r-----  1 root  operator   14,   0 Jan 30 16:05 /dev/vnd0a
crw-r-----  1 root  operator   41,   0 Jan 30 16:05 /dev/rvnd0a

Any ideas ?

Jaromir

It is better never to have been born. But who among us has such luck?
One in a million, perhaps.
