support package). Both of the people who do most (all?) of the work on
the pkgsrc tree are not in the US and/or are not citizens, so packages
with encryption present legal difficulties for them. While they could
commit the samba-des untested (since it contains no encryption itself),
they are understandably reluctant to commit something which they've not
tested.

So, if one of you with CVS access and appropriate legal status could do
so, I'd appreciate it.
