src/gnu/dist holds "stock" layout GNU toolchain programs. src/gnu/usr.bin/gdb
has NetBSD Makefiles to build gdb from these sources. The old gdb sources
have been removed.

src/gnu/usr.bin/gas is an OLD gas, and is not the same as the one in
src/gnu/dist. The src/gnu/dist gas is binutils 2.8.1. Eventually, we
will deprecate src/gnu/usr.bin/gas and use a similar NetBSD Makefile method
to build the new gas.
