Sounds true... i got bitten by a "make build" of xsrc that looked for a 
pcvt_ioctl.h or so, but that wasn't installed by a "make build" of
/usr/src (on i386, of course :).

Maybe this pcvt stuff should just be installed, be it used or not.

cd /usr/src  && make build
cd /usr/xsrc && make build

Isn't this similar enough??? :)
