Hello all,

several months ago, rdist was updated to use the new rcmd suite, which
should enable people to use rdist on top of ssh.

Have anyone been able to get this to work ? If yes, please send me
an example of how to do it.

I have tried to set RCMD_CMD to several combinations of ssh or
a script which in turn will call ssh with various parameters, but
I haven't been able to get it to work.

The best that I have yet achieved is to have "rdist -Server" started
on the remote machine, but no exchange of files ever happen on the
network connection -- they just stay connected.

(And yes, the ssh communication is possible: I can use slogin and ssh
directly from the command line, and I also see the ssh log entry stating
"executing remote command as user xxx").
