FYI:
I have put two example files for amd into src/share/examples/amd:

 - master: central config file that calls all the other ones
 - net: mount NFS volumens by cd'ing into /net/server/dir

I've used these files for many months on amiga, i386 and sparc now, so i
guess they do work reasonably well. :)
