My compaq prosignia says,

NetBSD 1.3_BETA (COMPA) #1: Sun Nov 30 
....
pchb0 at pci0 dev 0 function 0
pchb0: vendor 0x0e11 product 0x1000 (rev. 0x01)

I'll test that patch later today or tomorrow when I have physicalaccesses to 
the machine.

Sales literature refer to it as Compaq TriFlex/PCI, EISA system architechture. 
Dunno if there is any documentation anywhere.
