I'd really like to see this be /usr/pkg/share/man to properly mirror the
standard system hierarchy....

Unfortunately a whole lot of packages don't make it easy to set the
manual install directory properly, but I'd guess that for those they
need patches to point at /usr/pkg anyway, so why not make it easier to
share non-platform specific portions of /usr/pkg too?
