Hi Brad,

I think this is a carry-over from the FreeBSD "port" for msql. When I try
to make the msql port on my Thinkpad running FreeBSD, I get the exact same
problem when doing the make install. Incidentally, I also have had
problems trying to install the PostgreSQL port under FreeBSD as well.

When I get some time, I am going to look into installing the pieces of
msql manually, but we will need someone to clean up the makefiles for the
msql package.
