I'm currently trying to install NetBSD and am running into a bit of a
problem -- the NetBSD kernel that's on a boot disk that a friend of mine
created doesn't seem to properly detect my SCSI Hard Drive.  At the end of
this message is the contents of /kern/msgbuf.

Hardware that I have:

- Intel Pentium II 300
- 128 MB SDRAM
- S1696DLUA Tyan Thunder 2 ATX Motherboard (includes an onboard two-channel
Adaptec 7895 Ultra-Wide SCSI controller, manual says that it's equivalent
to the Adaptec 3940AUW.  also includes onboard IDE, USB, and Yamaha wavetable)
- Seagate Barracuda 4XL Ultra-Wide SCSI Hard Drive (don't know the exact
model number off hand)
- Toshiba 12x SCSI CD-ROM drive
- STB Velocity 128 AGP Video Card w/4MB RAM
- 3COM 10/100 Ethernet Card (3C905, I think...)
- Zoom 56kflex modem
- Sound Blaster AWE64 Gold
- Canopus Pure3D graphics accelerator


Does anyone have any ideas?
