  I'm getting a lot of these while running xmcd. xmcd also doesn't
seem to detect the right audio CD: it detects the first one inserted
(does the cddbd thing) and then all subsequent CDs are the same ID.
  Other notes: I installed both RedHat and Win95 using this drive. No
problems. The drive is the only device on the secondary IDE
controller. It was jumpered as "master" --- I have removed the jumper,
which in my experience is what "one device" should be jumpered as. I
had the same results beforehand. 
  At this point, I'm about the reboot: the CDROM is making funny
noises... and they aren't coming out the audio jack :-)
  I'm running 1.3 alpha as of October 30 or so.
