I had one problem when, having installed lesstif, I wanted to build xmcd.
I have the following in my /etc/mk.conf:
FETCH_CMD=/usr/bin/pftp
HAVE_MOTIF=true
but that didn't seem to do anything. My impression is that
/etc/mk.conf may not be read early enough to affect the .if
defined(HAVE_MOTIF) stuff. I had to build with:
make HAVE_MOTIF=true
Mind, you, the xmcd that I got was a bit buggy in places. I'm going
to try a newer lesstif.
