I do. If you don't define ProjectRoot in site.def, stuffs ends up in
/usr/bin/X11, usr/include/X11, ...
Now the default for ProjectRoot is /usr/X11R6.
Now what I ususally do is to let ProjectRoot at is default value
(/usr/X11R5, /usr/X386, /usr/X11R6, /usr/X11R6.3, ... what will be the next :)
and make a simlink from /usr/X11 to the directory I uses (so I can have
different versions installed, if needed ).
