Hi,

I don't know is this is already fixed, but:
The current kernel (as of 971005 MEZ) gives the following error when there
is no ethernet (or other device that supports ARP) in the kernel:

ld -z -Ttext F8100000 -e start -S -o netbsd ${SYSTEM_OBJ} vers.o
krpc_subr.o: Undefined symbol `_nfs_boot_setrecvtimo' referenced from text
segment
krpc_subr.o: Undefined symbol `_nfs_boot_enbroadcast' referenced from text
segment
krpc_subr.o: Undefined symbol `_nfs_boot_sobind_ipport' referenced from
text segment
krpc_subr.o: Undefined symbol `_nfs_boot_sendrecv' referenced from text
segment
*** Error code 1

No good if one just has a machine that's using SLIP/PPP sometimes. The
netboot-stuff should just be left out then.
